Two senior UK representatives touches base in Sri Lanka

Two senior UK representatives have touched base in Sri Lanka, on Monday morning (06), the British High Commission in Colombo said. The two ambassadors are Permanent Under-Secretary at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office Simon McDonald and Permanent Secretary at the UK Department for International Development Mark Lowcock. McDonald, the most senior UK representative and Lowcock will meet with Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe,
Leader of the Opposition R. Sampanthan, individuals from the administration, senior authorities and UK supported common society accomplices.



They will talk about advancement on compromise and human rights and additionally UK support for compromise, and more extensive ranges of participation between two nations.
