Jayalalithaa Urges Modi To Secure Release Of Indian Fishermen

In her second letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi inside a week after the capture of anglers by the Sri Lankan Navy, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa on Saturday encouraged him to secure the arrival of each of the 11 anglers in the guardianship of the Sri Lankan powers.

Four anglers from Kottaipattinam angling base of Pudukkottai locale were captured on June 2. They have been kept at Kankesanthurai in Sri Lanka.
