Aside from them no player from the Sri Lankan group has been chosen for the ODI group and no player has been chosen for the ICC test group of the year.
Alastair Cook, who drove England to a 3-2 Ashes triumph amid the mid year, was named the Test commander of the year.
South Africa's AB de Villiers was chosen as the ODI commander, having scored the group's quickest fifty and hundred amid the capability period from September 18, 2014 to September 13 2015.
The groups were picked by an extraordinarily named determination board, led by the ICC's cricket advisory group executive Anil Kumble.
