Dhammika captured ; FCID to test Nalaka Godahewa

Previous Chairman of the Security Exchange Commission (SEC) - Nalaka Godahewa has been summoned to the Financial Crime Investigation Division (FCID).

He has been educated to show up before the FCID today (Dec. 05).

In the interim, a previous delegate Deputy Director of the SEC - Dhammika Manjira Perera and Ronnie Ibrahim of the 'Tharunyata Hetak' association have been captured yesterday evening over an asserted abuse of assets at the SEC.
Police representative - ASP Ruwan Gunasekara said that they were captured as suspects as to the asserted abuse of assets.





They face charges of giving Rs. 05 million to the 'Tharunyata Hetak' association of MP Namal Rajapaksa. It is said that the giving of the monies was affirmed by Nalaka Godahewa.
