SLFP for National Govt; CBK to head MOU council

The Central Committee of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) has named an advisory group to define a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), for the shaping of a National Government with the United National Party (UNP).

SLFP Central Committee part and previous MP Nandimithra Ekanayake expressed that previous President Chandrika Bandaranaike Kumaratunga has been named to seat the six-part advisory group.
He expressed that an assention was come to with respect to the matter at the Central Committee meeting early today and that the gathering would enter a National Government subsequent to singing the MoU.





Ekanayake expressed that the goal of this is to unite as one nation with a specific end goal to confront the up and coming difficulties in Geneva.
