Malcolm Turnbull Ousts Tony Abbott As Australia Prime Minister

Malcolm Turnbull will turn into Australia's 29th executive in the wake of expelling Tony Abbott in a gathering room ticket in Canberra this evening.

Following a strained 30-moment hold up, Chief Government Whip Scott Buchholz rose up out of the meeting to report Turnbull had won the vote 54-44.

"This evening there were two votes directed; one ticket for pioneer, one tally for agent pioneer," Buchholz said.
"Malcolm Turnbull was fruitful on 54, Tony Abbott on 44 and one was casual."

Julie Bishop was reelected as delegate Liberal pioneer, crushing Kevin Andrews 70 votes to 30.

The meeting was called after Turnbull drew nearer Mr Abbott after inquiry time today to demand an authority poll.
