Gnanasara Thera has told the media that he was readied to go to imprison.

Protestation by attorneys
State counsel Dileepa Peiris and legal advisor Upul Kumarapperuma made entries to courts in such manner.
As he was leaving courts, Gnanasara Thera tended to the columnist's wife, Sandhya Ekneligoda, and said, "Your man is a Tiger. Go and ask," Kumarapperuma told the court.
In the wake of considering the entries by the legal advisors, the justice issued the request for the Thera's capture.
