Law understudy looks for Rs. 100m remuneration for loss of arm

A law understudy has looked for a Rs. 100 million remuneration from the Sri Lankan government and wellbeing powers for losing her arm while being dealt with at the Matara Hospital.

Colombo District judge - T.I.D. Gunesekara has re-altered the trial on Nov. 02 the case documented by Ms. Priyadarshani.
The case has refered to Matara General Hospital Director - Dilka Saranasinghe, Colombo National Hospital Director



- Anil Jasinghe, Health Services Director General - Palitha Gunaratne Mahipala, Health service secretary - Sudharma Karunaratne and the Attorney General as respondents.

Achala Priyadarshani, who was a last year law understudy in 2013, lost her arm because of the treatment she has gotten from the Matara General Hospital taking after an inadvertent tumble from a flight of stairs at her home.

The left-gave understudy has broken her left arm amid the fall and the specialists at the Matara General Hospital have set a cast. The understudy has whined the cast was too tight and bringing about agony however the cast had not been uprooted and rather she has been given a torment executioner.
