The Central Stags will have the administrations of Sri Lanka cricket legend Mahela Jayawardene for their next match against the Wellington Firebirds.
Jayawardene, who touches base in the nation tomorrow, is the main change for the Stags, supplanting of Hawke's Bay opening batsman Indika Senarathne for the match Saxton Oval in Nelson on Thursday.
Jayawardene is joining the Stags for the most recent month of the opposition, having quite recently played in the Cricket All Stars T20 arrangement in the United States.
The 38-year-old right-hander resigned from global cricket after the current year's World Cup, scoring more than 10,000 keeps running in both Tests and one-day internationals.
