The affirmed occurrence happened on Saturday (8) night at Andawela in Welipanna Police Division. As indicated by Police, authorization was looked for and conceded for a meeting of the Bodu Jana Peramuna in the range on that night.
In any case, the meeting had moved to the adjacent sanctuary. This is an unmistakable infringement of decision laws, ASP Gunasekara said.
The police had restricted this and a level headed discussion resulted.

Police today educated Matugama Magistrate of this episode and looked for notification to be issued for the people purportedly included in the occurrence. The Magistrate educated that there was adequate explanation behind even a capture, Gunasekara said.
The Magistrate would be taking up the request relating to the episode on August 25, Gunasekara further said.
