Letters of interest have been sent to remote illicit relationships priest Mangala Samaraweera, Ranjan Ramanayake, Nalin Bandara Jayamaha, JVP pioneer Anura Kumara Dissanayake and Gypsies pioneer Sunil Perera for putting forth defamatory expressions with respect to Mahinda Rajapaksa, say a legal counselor for the previous president.
At a media preparation at the restriction pioneer's office today (26), legal counselor Sagara Kariyawasam said Rajapaksa has requested Rs. 4,500 million in harms from the five for having offended him at the decision stage.
On the off chance that they neglect to react, lawful move will be made against them, he said.
Remarking on this, pastor Samaraweera said that legal counselors ought not turn to deferring strategies by holding media briefings in the event that they needed to record a defamatory case.
