Tending to a media instructions yesterday (21), Gammanpila made a guarantee that if UPFA could pick up larger part of the parliament they will test the homicide of previous editorial manager of Sunday Leader Lasantha Wickrematunge and the vanishing of Prageeth Eknaligoda.
Posting a status on his facebook page on Wednesday (22), Sanjaya Eknaligoda expressed that Gammanpila was attempting to utilize his dad's name to increase only political advantages.
"My dad vanished on January 24, 2010. At that point UPFA government had five years to test the matter. In any case, they didn't do it around then and now they have all of a sudden recalled my dad in light of the general race," Sanjaya Eknaligoda said.
